Wolf cooking appliances are built for precision: burners that go from a hard sear to a barely-there simmer, and wall ovens designed to bake evenly on every rack. When something drifts out of spec, the repair has to bring back that precision, not just get the burner lit again.
Mr. Fixer repairs Wolf ranges and rangetops, cooktops and wall ovens across Metro Atlanta. We test methodically, protect your kitchen while we work, and provide a written estimate before any repair.
About Wolf appliances
Wolf started as a commercial cooking equipment maker, and its residential line has belonged to the Sub-Zero Group since 2000. Many Wolf ranges and rangetops are recognizable by their red knobs. Their dual-stacked sealed burners use an upper tier of ports for high heat and a lower tier for gentle simmering, and Wolf gas ranges commonly include an infrared broiler. Wolf wall ovens use Dual VertiCross convection, which relies on multiple fans and elements working together. The lineup also covers induction and gas cooktops, steam ovens and warming drawers. Wolf parts are proprietary, so we identify the exact component on the first visit before anything is ordered.
Wolf appliances we repair
Common Wolf problems we fix
Burner will not hold a low simmer
On dual-stacked burners, the lower ports handle simmer. If they are clogged with debris or the burner is not seated correctly, the flame can go out or flicker at low settings. Valve problems are less common but possible.
Igniters clicking without lighting
A cracked igniter, a wet spark module or a burner component out of position can cause ignition failures. We test each part instead of replacing the whole ignition system.
Wall oven baking unevenly
With Dual VertiCross convection, one failed fan motor or element can throw off the whole oven. We check each element and fan and verify the cavity temperature.
Infrared broiler not lighting
On Wolf gas ranges with infrared broilers, an igniter or valve problem is the usual cause when the broiler will not light or goes out quickly.
Induction zone not responding
Pan detection issues, a power board fault or a cooling fan problem can stop an induction zone. We confirm with testing before recommending expensive board replacement.
Control panel errors
Wolf wall ovens use electronic controls that can be affected by heat, moisture or a loose connection. We check wiring and power before suggesting a new control.
Wolf tips from our technicians
- Keep the burner ports clear with a soft brush, and let burners dry fully before relighting. Moisture in the ignition area is a frequent cause of clicking.
- Gas smell in the kitchen? Shut nothing on or off, take your family outside, and call the gas company. Reach out to us after they have checked the line.
- Wipe up oven spills once the oven cools. Built-up residue can affect sensors and the airflow the convection system depends on.

Yes. Wolf and Sub-Zero belong to the same company, and we also service Sub-Zero refrigeration.
